Our Privacy policies

Privacy Policy

Effective date: [04/17/2026]

Bloodsucker respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app and website currently use, what we do not collect, and how we approach privacy as a company.

1. Our privacy philosophy

We believe people should not have to give away personal information just to use a helpful tool.

Our guiding principle is:

We only ask for what we need to help. Nothing more.

We do not believe in collecting personal data without a real reason. We do not sell user information. We do not treat users like products.

2. Information we currently collect

At this time, Bloodsucker is designed to require little or no personal information for normal use.

Depending on the feature being used, the app may access:

audio recorded by the user, only when the user chooses to record

music or audio files selected by the user for analysis

basic device-level permissions needed for app features, such as microphone access

The app does not require an account for core use unless future connected features are added.

3. Microphone access

If you use recording features, Bloodsucker may request microphone permission.

Microphone access is used only for features you intentionally activate, such as recording audio for analysis or practice-related tools.

We do not use the microphone in the background without your action.

4. Audio files you choose to open

If you select an audio file for analysis, the app will use that file only to provide the feature you requested.

We do not claim ownership of your audio files. We do not access files you have not chosen. We do not open personal media without your action.

5. Accounts and sign-up

At this time, core app use is intended to be available without forcing users to create an account.

If future features such as cloud storage, collaboration, personalized tracking, or coaching are added, this policy will be updated clearly before those features are introduced.

6. Payments and subscriptions

If paid features or subscriptions are added through services such as Google Play, payment processing will be handled by the platform provider.

Bloodsucker does not store your full payment card information.

The app may receive limited subscription-status information needed to unlock paid features, but not full financial account details.

7. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not believe user data should be treated as a hidden business model.

If any future service requires limited third-party support, such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, file processing, or payment verification, this policy will be updated to explain that clearly.

8. Advertising

If advertising is added in the future, our intention is for it to be relevant, limited, and respectful.

Ads, if used, will be chosen to support the product without damaging user trust, focus, or experience.

If advertising introduces any additional data-handling requirements, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are active.

9. Children’s privacy

Bloodsucker is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children without appropriate legal basis or parental involvement where required by law.

If you believe personal information from a child has been provided improperly, please contact us so the issue can be addressed.

10. Data security

We take reasonable steps to keep the product and its data handling responsible and minimal.

No app or website can promise perfect security, but we aim to collect as little sensitive information as possible so the risk stays low in the first place.

11. Changes to this policy

As Bloodsucker grows, this policy may need to change.

If we add features involving accounts, cloud processing, analytics, advertising, collaboration tools, or other forms of data handling, we will update this Privacy Policy so users can see clearly what changed.

The current version posted on this website is the version that applies.
